About Neil Douglas Lettings

Established in February 2006, Neil Douglas is an independent Letting Agent serving Aylesbury and the surrounding Buckinghamshire villages. We currently specialise in residential lettings and property management.

Our team consists of:

Neil Kurz, Founder and Managing Director


An ardent interest in buildings, the way they are constructed and deteriorate, and their diversity of styles and heritage inspired Neil Kurz to buy and renovate house immediately after graduating. Following a decade working in high-end aerospace and military engineering Neil embraced the fresh opportunity to formally study building surveying and his earlier experiences of managing multiples teams and projects led him to found Neil Douglas with the ambition to bring a sense of quality and pride to the property management sector.

As well as a Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management and a subsequent Masters degree in Building Surveying, Neil is a full member of the IRPM, the IET and an associate member of RICS, a testament to his personal commitment to continuous learning, and leadership in the property management industry.

Working closely across everything from client growth and retention, strategic marketing and finance, Neil brings his finely tuned eye for detail to his role, creating and refining the business and operational processes to ensure clients receive service that is both exceptional and enlightened. He is driven by a passion of building a business his colleagues and clients can be proud of, and by working with colleagues who push each other to learn, evolve and be better every day.  His drive and ambition mean that the journey for Neil Douglas is nowhere near its conclusion and there is future business growth ahead which will be tackled with the passion and commitment that has propelled the company thus far. 

When the office is closed, Neil is a keen sports fan and can be found cycling or training for his next half marathon or duathlon, this despite his ‘svelte’ rugby player physique!

Louisa Myatt, Founder and Director


When Louisa Myatt co-founded Neil Douglas in 2006, she brought with her 10 years’ experience as a marketeer, her own lacklustre experience as a customer in the property sector, and an ambition to make a change in the industry by offering clients a better experience.  

With a degree in Social and Cultural Studies and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, Louisa began on a new career in property management with a determination to make a difference by getting the basics right and being responsive to her client’s needs. Now a full member of the IRPM, she works closely with clients and prospective clients every day to communicate the opportunities that Right to Manage presents to them, ensuring that each and every client is given and experience of partnership and collaboration. Louisa also works closely with the finance and marketing teams to ensure that improvements and developments drive the business forward.

Whether it is watching the Neil Douglas team pass professional exams and grow in their roles, or helping clients gain control of their properties by guiding them through the Right to Manage process, Louisa takes pride in enabling others to reach their goals.

Outside of work, Louisa likes to spend time with her children and their ponies. An enthusiastic gardener, Louisa can often be found in her vegetable patch growing things that inspire her cooking.

Sarah Mustoe, Lettings Manager


After graduating from the University of Winchester with a BA in Film and American Culture in 2006, Sarah worked for five years in the CCTV industry as an Account Manager in Technical Sales. She joined Neil Douglas in June 2013 after a period spent travelling extensively through China, much of South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. 

Sarah quickly made herself an invaluable member of the team and became knowledgeable about all areas of our work. In 2015 she achieved the Technical Award in Residential Lettings Management and became a Member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents.

In 2016 she was promoted to Lettings Manager. She now manages the Lettings Team to ensure that we provide a high quality, fully managed service to landlords and tenants and she also advises on the more technical aspects of residential lettings.

Sarah Catlin, Graphic Designer


Sarah has been the Neil Douglas resident creative since 2009, masterminding the design behind the company’s visual identity, leading digital marketing and bringing block and building plans to life for clients.  

Sarah developed her natural creativity into a career in graphic and website design after discovering her passion for digital creation, embarking on a career as a freelance graphic designer before joining Neil Douglas. As the longest standing employee, Sarah is an integral part of the team and never tires of seeing the impact her design work has on the business, whether it be helping property managers with the visual work they need or developing its digital presence as it becomes more and more significant.

Outside of work, Sarah is a proud artist and spends her time drawing and developing commissions for friends, family and the public.

We are members of the Property Ombudsman and we have Client Money Protection (CMP) insurance.
